Moving from The Hills to The City, Lauren Conrad's bestie Whitney Port has managed to wow everyone and score her own show, flaunting her newfound personality, her gorgeous outfits and her own fabulous look for the world to see. Maybe that's why she's glowing.
Get her look:
This is a really pretty look we just love to love. And Whitney pulls it off perfectly. The secret here is not to flood your face with colour and cover-up, instead keeping the base natural and letting the illuminating elements go to work. So, where to start?
Eyes first. Use a silver white shadow to brighten up the browbrone (the bit just under the arch of your eyebrows), then use the same colour to add some sparkle to the inner corners of your eyes. Next up, use a shimmering black pencil to line the upper outer corners, keeping the line slightly thicker and solid for definition. Then use a white pencil to rim the inner bottom lashline for a wide-eyed look. To get Whit's super-super eyelashes, use a false-lash effect mascara. ModelCo's three-step newbie is easy to use: One coat of the mascara, one coat of lash fibers (look down when applying these), and a second coat of mascara.
For pretty cheeks, add some orange blush (with a light hand, ladies!) upwards and outwards, then dab and blend a shell pink illuminating fluid to the apples. use the same fluid lightly on the tip of the nose and in between your brows to create a subtle glow.
Finish with a lilac lippie (not as scary as it sounds) with a dab of illuminator on the centre of your bottom lip and on your
cupid's bow (the bit just below your nose where your lips dip in) to create the illusion of a fuller pout. All done!
