This is a really simple look when all you want is a pretty, polished effect. Great for daytime wear and casual outings, it's made-up without being over the top. The secret? No shimmer.

First off, get your hands on an airbrush foundation (6); these things are AMAZING for creating the illusion of perfect skin. Test on your wrist first to get a feel for the pressure, then, once you're confident, spray evenly on your face (keep your eyes closed!). G for light coverage first then build as required. Gently rub in with your fingertips if you notice any hard edges.

The rest of the look from here on out is simple really. Define eyes using a cake eye liner (4) (just wet a brush with water and apply as you would liquid liner), for a soft-focus lined effect, and keep brows tamed with a slick of clear brow gel (2).

Two coats of lengthening mascara (3), some cheek tint (5) blended up and outwards from your apples, and a coat of matte tearose pink lippy (1) and you're all set.
