Clarins have announced that it is the first beauty company to introduce Quick Response (QR) Codes on counters in major department stores across Australia.
The introduction of the codes allows customers immediate access to the
Clarins website by simply scanning the
QR code with their smart phone.
"The QR code is a step in the right direction for the brand in what is a technologically driven market, it is about enabling busy customers access to product information in the easiest possible way," says Michel-Henri Carriol, Chairman of Trimex who owns the Clarins brand in Australia.
QR codes are currently available on
Clarins counters for the new
Vital Light Serum.
What is a QR Code?
They hold data for immediate access and connection to multi-media content. When you scan or read a QR code by taking a picture with your camera (iPhone, Blackberry or Android), you are directly linked to digital content on the web, connecting through your mobile device's web browser.
